Little Plans privacy policy
Last updated 22 October 2026. Applies to the Little Plans web app, iOS app and Android app.
Little Plans is a private space for two people to save things they want to do together, plan outings, and keep memories. This page explains what the app stores, why, and how to remove it. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
What we store
- Your account: your email address (used only to sign you in with a one-time code), the display name you choose, and your avatar choices.
- What you and your partner add: ideas (titles, links, notes, categories, places, durations, costs, hours), plans, memories, photos, and each person’s interest reactions and ratings. Reactions and ratings are shared with your partner inside your space — they are not private notes.
- A plan’s starting point: only when you type a place or tap “Use my location” while planning. Your location is requested only at that moment, never in the background, and is saved only as that plan’s start or end point. The app does not track where you or your partner are.
- A saved home: only if you set one (Settings → Home), so plans can start from it. You can clear it there at any time.
- Your settings: the look you chose and which notifications you want to hear about.
- Notification registrations: when you turn notifications on, the delivery token that Apple, Google or your browser gives this device. It is used only to send you notifications about what your partner added, and it is removed when you turn notifications off on that device, sign out everywhere, or delete your account.
What we do not do
- No advertising, no analytics trackers, no selling or sharing of your data with anyone for marketing.
- No public profiles. Your space is visible only to the two people in it.
- Photos are private: they are served only to signed-in members of your space through short-lived links.
Services we rely on
- Cloudflare hosts the app, the database, and photo storage (data stored in the United States).
- Resend delivers sign-in code emails.
- Apple Push Notification service (iPhone), Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android) and your browser’s push service deliver notifications. Apple’s and Google’s services receive this device’s delivery token, the notification’s text (your partner’s name and what they added) and which screen it opens; a browser’s push service sees only an encrypted message it cannot read.
- OpenStreetMap Nominatim receives the place names you search for, and the OSRM routing service receives place coordinates to estimate driving times. These requests are not linked to your account.
Leaving and deleting
- Leaving your space stops it being shared. Both people keep read-only access to what was there, and anyone you pair with later never sees it.
- Deleting your account (Settings → Delete account) removes your account (email address, name and avatar), your sign-ins on every device, your interest reactions, your agreements to plans, and your ratings and “How it was” notes on memories. Ideas, plans, memories and photos you added — and the shared note on each memory — stay with your former partner, attributed to “a former partner”; home addresses inside shared plans are blurred. When nobody can reach a space any more it is deleted entirely, photos included.
- Export (Settings → Export) gives you a copy of your ideas, plans and memories at any time.
- If you can’t sign in to delete your account yourself, email support@neetree.app from the address you signed up with and we will delete it for you.
